Tall Centerpieces

I have known Lauren for many years, prior to her relationship with Micheal (also known as Rapp), but when I saw them two together I knew it was genuine, real love. Lauren, a bartender at King Street Grille and Rapp a Firefighter for the City of Myrtle Beach, are both well known in the community. They were friends long before they started dating which they say assisted in jump starting their relationship.

He proposed on the beach on vacation in Mexico surrounded by Lauren’s family. Upon their return, set the wedding date for just under a year after the engagement. We had such a fun planning process full of laughs and prosecco :)

Pine Lakes is full of elegance and class and that was the theme throughout the entire wedding. By taking elements from the 20’s era such as crystals and gold, and Art Deco style shapes and fonts and combining it with modern, romantic candlelight and greenery took Lauren & Rapp’s wedding day to beautiful luxury.

During the ceremony, Rapp’s fire station surprised them by bringing one of the trucks to Pine Lakes for photo ops, and I have to say, it was so cool! From start to finish this wedding had all the bells and whistles - Crystal chandelier as the ceremony backdrop, bag pipe band, custom bars, and even a food truck serving delicious cheeseburgers & french fries for guests to indulge in as they left the reception!

Lauren & Mike, we wish you all the best of luck & love!

Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce100 Years | Pawleys Island, SC | EVENTS BY SANTANA

The voice of businesses and the county’s biggest promoter of member success deserves a Gala worthy of 100 years of dedicated service to the Georgetown community. What an honor it was to coordinate both the 100th birthday and the end of year Gala for the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce.

To kick off such a momentous occasion we opted for a birthday celebration that commemorated some of the most iconic items that have also withstood the tests of 100 years time! The Hammock Shops porch was the perfect backdrop accompanied by uplighting provided by GlobalTruth Entertainment that took the party to another level. We showcased an menu offering some Low Country favorites - chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes with pimento Cheese, shrimp & grits and egg rolls :: Although, it was the CheerWine and MoonPie bar that stole the show!

Also celebrating 100 years is the famous Chuck Taylor shoe which quickly became the theme for our centerpieces & floral arrangements! That’s right, we used the timeless street shoe to decorate each table! It was a great turn out, but how could it not be with The Reggie Sullivan Band playing in the courtyard gazebo. The celebration did not end here!

Sticking closely to the time of 100 years ago, we themed the Chamber’s premier event around the Roaring 20s! All the members were invited to a Roaring Night celebrating and commemorating 100 years of service. A seating lounge fit for the times was brought in by EventWorks while the most charming saxophone soloist entertained the prohibited cocktail hour. We even created a Georgetown Chamber memorabilia room with important keepsakes and tokens from their esteemed past. This end of the year bash and awards ceremony shined with black silk linen and topped with the most beautiful arrangements of white feathers and pearls. After a delicious dinner provided by Pawleys Plantation, they blew out the birthday candles of a custom gold “G” cake donated by Pawleys Island Bakery. The roaring night ended with a toast and vintage coupes full of sparkling champagne!

Happy 100 years Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce! Cheers to 100 more!

Sweet, Pure Love | Lindsey & Eric | Pine Lakes Country Club, Myrtle Beach, SC | EVENTS BY SANTANA

This wedding was the epitome of sweet, pure love! These two are so head over heels for each other and completely inspired me. They have been through so many rough patches in their life and to watch them come together and tackle life one step at a time was truly remarkable.

Lindsey & Eric are young, kind, and full of love and life and wanted their wedding day to reflect that. They chose a soft palette of light grey, greens and pale yellow. Pine Lakes Country Club courtyard was the most perfect backdrop to their afternoon garden ceremony.

When it came to the details, they surely didn’t skip a beat! If y’all know me then you know I LOVE my high heels. When I saw that Lindsey had custom wedges created with green and silver rhinestones and her new last name I was in AWE! So adorable!!! There were yard games such as corn-hole and life size connect four for guests to enjoy on the lawn during cocktail hour. The Brides mother had collected beautiful vintage glasses cottage homes that were used as décor pieces (I’ve never seen these before and now would love to start collecting my own).  The night ended with a delicious Sundae Bar! Ice cream, sprinkles, chocolate and so much more.

DJ Scott & Co.’s very own ,DJ Conner, kept the night alive with fun, popular beats and colorful uplights surrounding the dancefloor. Coccadotts was the creator of the yummy 2-tiered cake and assorted flavored mini cupcakes. Hannah of Hannah Ruth Photography captured every special moment and detail, including the sparkler exit.

This wedding was one for the books. Linsdey & Eric, you two hold special places in my heart and remind me everyday to love my significant other through thick & thin! I wish you both the most love & happiness life can give. God Bless
